Hi! I’m Colleen
I’m an avid reader, an animal lover, and I have a habit of picking up too many new hobbies. I love to make a space cozy and comfortable–and I hope to create that space for you in therapy. I have a passion for walking alongside clients through their journey of mental wellness, exploring their identity, processing their experiences, or just figuring out their place in the world in a space that feels warm, comforting, and safe enough to do the difficult work of therapy.

What’s therapy with me like?
I work from a person-centered perspective, which means I take the perspective that you’re the expert in yourself! It isn’t my job to tell you where you want to go–I view it as my role to help you figure that out for yourself and to give you the tools and support you need to get there. Along the way, I’ll use techniques from mindfulness therapies, Sand Tray Therapy, art, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). To learn more about these therapies, please check out my resources here.
