I see clients in-person in my office in Murfreesboro. Online sessions may be offered on an occasional, as-needed basis when in-person therapy isn’t an option, but not for on-going sessions.

I do! At this time, I accept Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. For insurances I don’t accept, I can also provide a superbill you can use to request reimbursement from your insurance.

My out-of-pocket fee for a 50-minute session is $150. I do offer some sliding scale spots, you can see my full fee information here. If you need to utilize sliding scale, please reach out to me here.

Each session is typically around 50 minutes. In terms of how long the course of therapy takes, it depends heavily on what you want to get out of therapy. Some people may come to therapy for two or three months, while others find value in going to therapy for years. There’s no right or wrong answer, and there’s no one-size-fits-all estimate.

Relationship therapy isn’t something I offer. However, I do refer to some fantastic relationship therapists, please check my resource page here.

Therapy isn’t about if anyone has it “bad enough” to benefit from it. Therapy is for anyone who wants a space where they are accepted and supported in exploring anything they might find useful–whether that’s managing everyday stress, diving deeply into processing trauma, or anything in between!

Therapy is a very personal process, finding a therapist who’s a good fit depends on style, interventions, and even personality. While there’s no way to know for certain before starting work together, a good starting place is a free consult call. You can reach out to schedule that here.

A consult call lasts about 15-20 minutes, and we can do it by phone or video. It’s just a brief conversation to talk about what you’re looking for from therapy, what it’s like to work with me, and get a chance to get to know each other a little bit before scheduling that initial session.

I do! What that looks like varies case-by-case, but at minimum I check in with parents at the end of every session with a child. You can get more information on what therapy for kids and teens looks like here.
